Help with Codepit

Pair your iPhone

• On your computer. Open Codepit, then Settings → Phone. It shows a QR code made for one phone.
• On your iPhone. Open Codepit, tap Scan the code and point the camera at the screen. That is all: no account, no password.
• More computers. In the app, Settings → Computers → Add another, and scan the code on that computer too.
• Just looking? Tap Try the demo on the first screen. It shows made-up chats and needs no computer.

When something does not work

• The app says the computer is offline. Codepit has to be open on the computer, with a project open, and the computer awake and online. Both sides reconnect by themselves once it is.
• No notifications. Allow them for Codepit in the iPhone's Settings → Notifications, and keep Codepit open on the computer: the notes come from there.
• The code does not scan. A code stops working after 15 minutes. Make a new one in Settings → Phone on the computer.
• A new phone, or one you no longer have. On the computer, Settings → Phone lists the paired phones; remove the old one there. In the app, Settings → Forget this computer does the same from the phone.
