Claude adds Auth0 login to any app

One auth0 skill reads your project, works out your framework and loads the right Auth0 guide. It covers login, MFA, passkeys, Organizations, API protection, debugging and moving off another auth provider.

Scan checks all of auth0/agent-skills on your computer, before anything installs.

How it works

Detect

Claude reads files like package.json or requirements.txt to find your framework and what you're asking for.

Load

It loads only the two or three matching reference files, such as the Next.js guide for a Next.js project.

Build

It installs the right SDK, creates the auth routes, sets environment variables and wires up login and logout.

When it kicks in

  • Login and signup
  • MFA and passkeys
  • Protecting an API
  • Organizations
  • Auth errors
  • Provider migration
  • Tenant audit

It kicks in even if you never say Auth0. If it misses, type /auth0 before your question to force it.

Before you start

  • An Auth0 account. The free one works.
  • The Auth0 CLI, version 1.37.0 or newer (brew install auth0), for tenant setup when your project doesn't use Terraform or the Auth0 MCP server.

Try saying

>Add Auth0 login to my Next.js app

Claude detects Next.js from your project, loads the Next.js guide, installs the SDK, adds the auth routes and environment variables, and wires up login and logout.

Worth knowing

To configure your tenant, Claude uses the Auth0 CLI logged in to your account, or Terraform or the Auth0 MCP server if your project already uses them. It can create and change apps and APIs there.

A tenant audit only applies a fix after you confirm that command, and Claude re-checks each change afterwards.

The old per-framework skills (auth0-react, auth0-nextjs and others) were merged into this one. If your CLAUDE.md or another skill names an old one, change it to auth0.
