What you get
Nine skills. The intake, contract and M&A skills need box and box-legal-workflows too.
- box
- box-cli
- box-mcp
- box-sdk-development
- box-integration-best-practices
- box-legal-workflows
- box-legal-workflows-intake
- box-legal-workflows-contract
- box-legal-workflows-ma
Before you start
- For MCP work: an authorized Box MCP connection. Which tools you get depends on your admin settings, scopes and permissions.
- For CLI work: the Box CLI, installed and signed in as the right Box user.
- For SDK work: the official Box SDK for your language, with Box authentication set up for live calls.
- For legal workflows: your firm's checklists, templates or access rules. Engagement letters also need a registered Doc Gen template.
Try saying
Claude compares the two with Box AI, lists the clauses that differ with citations and, once you confirm, saves the contract details as Box metadata and uploads the report for an attorney.
Worth knowing
Installing the skills does not connect Claude to Box. You authorize Box access separately, and the plugin config points at Box's hosted MCP server at mcp.box.com.
Before the first overwrite, move, delete or file comment, Claude describes the change and waits for you. It also asks before pasting a file's contents into the chat, and warns before uploading to an externally shared folder.
In the legal workflows Box AI only gathers facts with citations. The firm supplies the criteria, and an attorney makes every legal and risk call.
