Codepit The toolbox

Let Claude use your apps through Zapier

Connects Claude to Zapier's hosted server, so it can find, draft, send and create things in the apps you pick, like Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets and Jira. Four skills walk you through setup.

Scan checks all of zapier/zapier-mcp on your computer, before anything installs.

Codepit runs on your computer. Open this page there to scan it before installing.

A plug going into a small server

A real clip from the author's repo.

How it works

Onboard

Say "onboard zapier". Claude connects the server and checks what you already have set up.

Demo

Pick one app and one read-only action, add it at mcp.zapier.com, and run it live in the chat.

Explore

Answer two or three questions about your work and get a starter set of actions to enable for your role.

Before you start

  • A Zapier account. You sign in at mcp.zapier.com when you connect the server.
  • You choose which apps and actions Claude can use at mcp.zapier.com, and connect each app's account there.

Try saying

>What's on my calendar tomorrow?

With Google Calendar's Find Events action enabled, Claude runs it and shows your next few events with titles and times.

Worth knowing

The plugin only holds the setup and skills. The server itself is hosted by Zapier at mcp.zapier.com and is closed source, so your requests to connected apps go through it.

Zapier documents usage limits, billing and quotas for its MCP server at docs.zapier.com/mcp/usage.

Comes with four skills

They cover setup, a first live action, a role-based toolkit and health checks.
